May 23rd,
2004. The trip was fantastic. We pushed of at 1045hrs from Projet/ Gohtong
Jaya / KKB / Gap / Bentong / Karak Highway and back.
Our team of RED DEVILS (CE, Benny, Alex) and our 2dc member Azman in his Porche
had a beautiful and relaxed drive. As for me I had an overheating problem as
usual at the foot hill of Goh Tong Jaya, boost on turbo was the problem. Got
that sorted and we stopped for lunch at the GAP with the friendly biker groups
that was there as well.
From there we took the twisting roads of Raub to Bentong as all the other cars
decided to burn some rubber. Trust me I could smell the rubber as they left me
limping by a district. We soon arrived for some wonderful ABC, compliments to
Jeff - Benny's cousin on the fantastic ABC and we had some wonderful Nasi Lemak
Sotong that was prepared by Jai - Man wife. Compliments to the chefs.
It was a bright and sunny afternoon when we all took a slow and casual drive
back as the group had to break of as Man was heading back to Janda Baik and CE
for a recce to Kuala Selangor. It was just me and Benny just gliding in our RED
HOT BABY'S home.
